Baker
Creative wins award for 2nd consecutive year: On February
8, 2005, Baker Creative won in the theme garden category at
the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association’s (PLNA) 2005 Awards for Excellence in Landscape Design Ceremony.
The award was given for the innovative Children’s Mitzvah
Garden we designed and installed at the Mary Bert Gutman Early
Learning Center in Melrose Park. In 2004, Baker Creative received
the same award for two of its residential landscapes. |

Garden
yields help for the hungry: At a ceremony on December
13, the 2- to 5-year-old gardeners at Mary Bert Gutman Early
Learning Center donated the proceeds from the sale of flowers
they grew to Jewish Family & Children’s Services,
which will use the funds to provide food for the hungry. Brad
Baker of Baker Creative was invited to the event in recognition
of his innovative design and donated services to establish the
Children’s Mitzvah Garden. |
