Top Priorities
These are the things that mattered most to the people who stopped by our exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show.
- Color! People were most excited by the deep reds of the Witch Hazel Diane and the Winterberry Holly, as well as the bright pink of Prairie Fire Crab Apples.
- Lighting. We featured our low-voltage, LED lighting and its subtle yet emphatic effect bowled people over. As they learned about energy savings, avoiding the blinding glare of traditional options and designing to use the reflective quality of light, folks were even more intrigued.
- Drainage. So many people talked to us about water problems on their properties. It’s truly a pervasive issue, and that is the reason that we have built an entire offering around it, using both our design expertise and our engineering know-how.
- Dynamic stonework. The integrated stone design and huge boulders got people very excited. When they asked where we get our extraordinary stones, they were most surprised… can you guess? Next time you see one of us, it’s worth asking.
- Architectural features. Petunias flowing from a piano (representing, with their undulation, the show’s jazz theme) and a partial gazebo really got people talking about the opportunities to create great effects by doing the unexpected with architectural elements.
